Day 2 of the Transylvania Train adventure: traditional crafts

May, June, July, Transylvania Train! Just a little, and we’ll board the only Orient Express of Romania.

More interesting than by airplane or by car, the Transylvania Train trip is like a cruise on land in the heart of Transylvania. On the left and right mountain landscapes, the locomotive puffs, the guides are struggling to delight with historical information, and you get into a new world while enjoying a glass of wine.

Transylvania Train is more than just a train and it is rather an ideal socialization opportunity. Wagons are bistro-type, and you enjoy not a simple tourist package, but a cultural package with a touch of adventure.

Being equally an experience in itself and a memorable trip into the culture of Transylvania, this adventure brings together people with common concerns, travel enthusiasts, but also traditions lovers, who want to relax, but also to broaden their horizons.

Here’s what we’ve prepared for your second day of adventure!

After we wake up and take a hearty breakfast, we will head to Sighisoara Train Station, where the train waits for us to take us to a new destination: Medias and its surroundings. In the train, we will delight ourselves with the wines from Villa Vinea, with assortments produced in a unique climate, whose soil has an extraordinary sap. Besides all of these, the winds in this area favor the adjustment of the vineyard rhythm and evaporate the surplus water from the morning dew.
